Damnit Eve, how dare you be asleep at midnight on a Thursday!

Tonight's Phoenix throw down was pretty sweet minus the demise of another supposedly top-of-the-line badminton racket. I liked all the different people. (and by that I mean, I'M SO GLAD AMOS CAME)

But then as I started thinking things started to look like they kind of suck. But at least choices are more clear. Maybe.

The point is...I'm making my parents adopt KC so I can have a sister and best friend all in one.

-spooning with people who regularly refuse to be touched
-Ocean's Eleven
-free Carvel soft serve
-school dances
-finally making money again
-reading in bed
-watching movies after many many years and feeling like you can tell the future because you don't really remember what happens but you have a feeling you know and then you're always right (aka that tingly feeling as some would call it)
-knowing that in a week there will be no more full weeks of junior year left.

Alright, the moment of truth has finally come - I really need everyone I know to come over tomorrow and help me pick a dress. It's too hard, I can't do it myself and keep making hideous faces whenever I think about it.

Today was wonderful.

So it started out with Chloe showing up in my room at 8:30 and waking me up and so we played badminton and are awesome and then ran around and then got on the bus.
And so we were in Au Bon Pain in the Port Authority and...well if you're someone who really cares about this news and we have your number then you've probably heard the detailed story (plus we're going to reenact it in Phoenix) but WE SAW AUSTIN SCARLET AND HE WAS RIGHT THERE NEXT TO US AND HE SMILED AT ME.

And then we went to the Met and everything was beautiful and the harpsichords and lutes were amazing and we didn't have to pay for lunch and we spent a total of maybe 2 hours sitting on the steps.

And THEN we walked all the way to the Colbert Report and watched most of the taping and made pirate noises and I watched it on TV just now and it was damn fine.

I simply cannot wait to live in New York.

Yeah, that basically sums up today.

Lunch at Marie's today was delightful, and then I ended up not going to my 6-7 block for the second week in a row, which was probably a bad idea but I had a lovely time nonetheless.

I just love it when my parents come home from dinner drunk and are making up songs to sing about me (the SAT song went something like "those testers need to testify that it takes testes to take the test it's a testement to the testes....giggle giggle testes giggle for about 20 minutes) and then I feel really guilty for not going with them so I could drive home.

But they did bring me shrimp pad thai, so that was very nice.

This morning basically sucked the life out of me and then I was dead and no fun and I'm quite sorry.

Part of the day that made it all worth it =
Jim: I can't believe you cut off the end of Seal so we could listen to Sade.
Me: Whatever, it's the longest song ever.
Jim: Aka, the longest period of euphoria.
Me and Chloe: I LOVE YOU MARRY ME

ps - I've researched Hamlet to no end and highlighed and learned some piano in between and now that shit is getting written.

Every Wednesday night I go to session and then race home like a maniac to make it to Chloe's by ten for Project Runway. And we make tea and eat graham crackers and I make comments like "God she even looks good when she's crying! I'm so upset I'm not Asian" and "Tuck that shit in Daniel!" giving Chloe's mom even more reason to hate me but I still just have a lovely lovely time and look forward to it all week.
Which is why being sick and having to sit at home with my mom and Jerry going on and on about I don't care and having Davo not be here for the first time I've really really wanted him to be here is just sucking.

Today I did nothing but mope and lose friends. Today was bad. Not car accident bad, but really sad and with an enflamed throat bad.
